Caring for your candle in 4 easy steps

1. Burn your candle between 1 and 2 hours, until the entire surface liquefies. If not, it may hollow out, and you will lose burning time. Sacrilege!
2. Re-cut the wick before each use: First, to avoid any soot emission and a too high flame; second, because it tends to move on the sides because of the heat. If you relight it without cutting it off, one side of the candle will burn faster than the other. This will not look good, and again you will lose burning time.
3. Smother the flame rather than blowing it out: it will give off less black smoke and soot. This is when you need to refocus the wick.
4. Light your candle 1 hour before entertaining, so that the fragrance has time to diffuse and create a great moment of conviviality!
